Soul and Science

The nature of the Soul is, at the same time, simple as well as abstruse. Its existence is very much evident, but its origin is a secret. The same can be said of Science. It gives an explanation for every phenomenon that occurs in this Universe, but the origin of Science can be explained by none. It is an amorphous subject that is as simple as it is complex.
A noticeable fact is that Soul and Science are eternal and immortal; have no form or state of existence, but are still omnipresent.
The basic tenet of the Philosophy of Rene Descartes, “Cogito, ergo sum” means, ‘I think, therefore I am’. All my actions are governed by my brain. Even to wiggle my toe, a signal has to be sent from the brain. Neuroscience explains how the brain functions as the control-room of the human anatomy. The Consciousness within me is responsible for keeping me alive, and that Consciousness is the reflection of the Soul. The Soul is immortal and so should be the Consciousness. It is up to me to explore within and rise above the level of physical Consciousness to realize the existence of the eternal Consciousness. With this realization follows the realization that I am eternal, I am indestructible, I am forever.
